Important Notice
Hello HCMS parents and friends,
At Horizon Community Middle School we strive to be good neighbors in the community and hope we are leading that example. For our parents and guardians driving their sons, daughters and neighborhood friends to and from school - if you are accessing our lower lot near the fire station we ask that you be mindful and not block their entryway. Our first responders are asking for your help and support in keeping these lanes clear of traffic at all times. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility with this very important issue.
There are positions available in the District:

  • Take the Cherry Creek Fitness Challenge

Elementary and middle school students can have fun and stay fit this summer by taking the Cherry Creek Fitness Challenge. Just enroll online and keep track of all summertime physical activity, like hiking, swimming or bike riding, and convert that activity into equivalent miles. The goal is to reach 26.2 equivalent miles, which is equal to a marathon. Then register for the Cherry Creek Schools Fitness Festival on Sat., Sept. 10. Students can participate in either the 5K Run/Walk or the 1K Family Fun Run. Afterward, they’ll receive a medal for completing the Cherry Creek Fitness Challenge!
