Husky Highlight Night
5th Graders and families, please join us for HUSKY HIGHLIGHT NIGHT at Horizon Community Middle School!
Wednesday, January 28th, 2026 from 5:30-7:00.
We will have a brief presentation in the gym and then you will have an opportunity to explore the building and meet our 6th grade team.
(Students will join us on Monday, January 26 with their elementary school as a field trip.)

This week, the Cherry Creek School District will celebrate 75 years and welcome back nearly 53,000 students from preschool through 12th grade. As a top performing school district in Colorado and the nation, CCSD celebrates this historic anniversary and commits to continued excellence for each and every student in the years to come.

The new NSWL Denver state-of-the-art performance center broke ground Monday morning; a one-of-a-kind partnership between Denver NWSL and the Cherry Creek School District. The goal is to help advance women’s youth, amateur, and professional sports in Colorado and support CCSD’s vision of a Pathway of Purpose for every student.

The Cherry Creek Schools Board of Education has named longtime district volunteer, employee, and former board member Janice McDonald as the newest inductee to the Legacy Stadium Educational Leadership Wall of Fame.

Explore CTE Opportunities at CCIC & Pathways at Overland
Pathways at Overland and the Cherry Creek Innovation Campus (CCIC) are hosting open houses to showcase Career and Technical Education (CTE) opportunities for CCSD students beyond their high school.
Students entering 10th–12th grade and their families are encouraged to attend one or both events to meet instructors, tour facilities, and learn about the available pathways. No RSVP required.
